I'll be surprised if anyone reads this considering how long it's been since I've updated. Tonight I revisited the land of LJ while wondering about some amazing people I met at Defcon in the past. My husband has wonderful friends there, and we do plan on making another appearance one day.

I do have their mom's permission. The girls were fun to work with, but sometimes they got a scolding from their mother who was doing a lot of directing. I preferred letting them go off on their own and play to shoot, but they did have to have a few posed shots for their grandmother's sake. It was definitely harder than I imagined.

Did anyone catch that really weird chat with Babyface last night during the American Music Awards? Behind him was a sign for some kind of advertisement with a pink diamond with the words KAY KAY KAY on it, and without thinking about it, I read the sign out loud, and made it sound like "Hey, hey, hey!" ... My sister was like.. man, that is just wrong! I was like.. huh?? And it took me a second when I realized I just basically said KKK. What the hell.. didn't anyone think about what that sign looked like? Why on Earth did they even have to design their logo that way? It was a sign for Kay Jewelers, but they made the KAY part really large, and the Jewelers really hard to see.

Wow... everyone else in the world probably already knows this now (cuz I'm always the last one to hear about something)... but OH... MY... GOD. Gucci makes wallpaper now! Like for real! You can buy it off gucci.com! Decent price, too. It's gorgeous.. but I don't think I could do that to my house. It's a little too ghetto fab to me... like.. "Look at me, I'm rich! I have Gucci wallpaper!" I think it'd be cute for a young rich girl's closet or something, or a really nice study or office with flattering architectural details that go with the pattern, but if you're in a regular house in the suburbs of Texas, or a trailor, I'd really think hard before putting some up.

| Halloween Costume Failure |

So... this year, we learned NOT to assume my mother in law is going to pick out Dylan's costume every year. Last year, my mother and I slaved for about 6 hours making Dylan the Meatwad costume, only to find out that my MIL already bought Dylan a costume. No problem really, I didn't care that he was both :) So I made the mistake this year of thinking maybe she'd do that again so we didn't have to worry about his costume.
Halloween comes around...
NOPE.. no costume from the MIL! :P DOH....We end up looking in his closet, and grabbed a costume she bought him earlier this year, and prayed it would fit. DENIED! It was far too big.. and in a few years, hopefully it'll be the right size, heh. He was not a happy camper.
